“One shivering second of silence, the shock of the moment suspended: and then the tumult broke around Harry as the screams and the cheers and the roars of the watchers rent the air. The fierce new sun dazzled the windows as they thundered towards him, and the first to reach him were Ron and Hermione, and it was their arms that were wrapped around him, their incomprehensible shouts that deafened him. The Ginny, Neville, and Luna were there, and then all the Weasleys and Hagrid, and Kingsley and McGonagall and Flitwick and Sprout, and Harry could not hear a word that anyone was shouting, nor tell whose hands were seizing him, pulling him, trying to hug some part of him, hundreds of the pressing in, all of the determined to tough the Boy Who Lived, the reason it was over at last”
That day will live on forever as one of the happiest days in the Wizarding world. It was the day that Harry Potter fulfilled his destiny and rid the world of one of the most feared wizards in history, Lord Voldemort. Since then, everyone has resorted to picking up the remaining pieces of their lives, though this was easier said then done.
Kingsley Shacklebolt became Minster of Magic and Harry and Ron, eager to help out, became Aurors and together they sought out the remaining death eaters. It was during this time that Harry reformed the Auror Department and became its Head. Hermione, after going back to school with Ginny to complete their final year, also joined her friends in the help to establish a better way of life.
Years went by and the golden trio grew up, each settling down with their significant other. Hermione married long time friend Ronald Weasley and continued to work for the ministry in for Dept. of Magical Law Enforcement in efforts to put an end to pro-pureblood laws. Her husband Ron, as well being an Auror, took up helping his brother George with his joke shop.
Along with Ron and Hermione, Harry settled down as well with Ginny, who became a pro quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies. After playing for a few years, she retired and got a job writing for the Daily Prophet as their senior quidditch reporter.
Hogwarts has been rebuilt and still takes in her students every September First. Along with the rebuilding of the beautiful castle, a memorial was also constructed, bearing the names of those who gave their lives to help the greater good. It now stands as a powerful reminder of what the wizarding world went through to make everything equal.
Now twenty five years later, everything is about to change. A new wizard has come to power, one that outrivals that of the pervious Dark Lord and soon plunges the world back into fear. Everyone looks to Harry Potter once again, to rid them of this new evil, but there is one thing that makes this fight different and that is that Harry is in the same boat as the rest of them.
Slowly, things begin to return to the way they were, and Hogwarts is once again torn between houses and blood lines. Have the students learned nothing from their parents’ tales? And what about the rest of the wizarding community, will they be able to see that they can’t rely on one alone to save them? Most importantly, will they be able to ban together before it is too late?
*Note!: This wonderful piece of writing is the amazing work of J.K.Rowling. I do not, nor claim to, own it in anyway.
